It is recommended that you book your order as soon as possible.   We ask for a minimum of 14 business days notice on any order, and at least two months notice on large orders (over 100 servings).

We specialize in the highest quality of work and because of that we limit our booking slots. We book up very quickly, so please contact us as early as possible to ensure availability. Please also note that your requested date will NOT be reserved until a deposit is placed, no matter how many details we’ve discussed.

We require a minimum NON-REFUNDABLE 50% deposit to reserve the date for any order.  Orders less than $100.00 must be paid in full.  Although at least 14 business days is ideal, please inquire at any time and I will tell you of our availability and see what we can do to accommodate you.  I will always do my very best to accommodate last minute orders if at all possible.  Rush orders are subject to a $30 rush fee.

Although we think our cake designs are priceless, our custom wedding and celebration cakes start at $4 a serving and increase depending on the number of servings and the complexity of the design.  We do not have a price list as each cake is a one-of-a-kind.

Please note there is a minimum order of $85 for celebration cakes and a minimum of $225 for wedding cakes.  Approximate prices can be given by email if the date and serving numbers are provided, and full quotes are provided after all of the details and the size are discussed, usually at the consultation.  Request a free quote.

If you saw an image of a cake that you fell in love with, please email or bring a photo with you to your consultation.  We are able to recreate the overall feel of the design, but not the exact cake. We believe each client should have a custom cake designed for them.  Your cake should be as special as you are!

Our custom cakes are made from scratch using fresh ingredients just for you, from start to finish.  We work with you to design your cake and make sure your style, theme, and favorite flavors are in each cake.  It’s a very different process than purchasing a grocery store cake!  Each of “LaViv’s Sweet Treats” Cakes is as unique as you are!

We require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit upon ordering to reserve your time and date.  The balance is due at or prior to delivery or pickup.  If you will not be at the location at the time of the scheduled delivery, your payment must be made ahead of time.

Please call to setup a cake tasting. Cake tastings are scheduled according to the date’s availability. It is a setting for 2 people and you will also receive a take home bag. Our cake tastings start at $65.00 and they include a variety of cake and frosting/filling combinations to sample. Each additional guest is $15 each (max 4 people total). The fee for your tasting is due no later than 7 days before your appointment.

During the consultation we will discuss the design of your cake, so please bring any pictures, Pinterest boards, fabric swatches, or any other items you think will help us get a feel for your special day.  The cake tasting typically lasts about 1 to 1 ½ hours, so we ask that you arrive on time to ensure that you are allotted your proper time. Should you need to reschedule or cancel, we ask that you contact us 48-72 hours in advance of your appointment. There will be no refunds given if you do not reschedule or don’t show up to your appointment.

We now also offer Cake Tasting Boxes!!!! So if your schedule doesn’t allow you to come in and sit with us, you can enjoy and sample your selections in the comfort of your own home with family and friends. Each cake tasting box gives you enough servings to accommodate 4 people.

Any retainers paid towards your balance are NON-REFUNDABLE as each order is customized and we begin prepping for your order as soon as your invoice is paid.  However, for cancellations made no later than 3 weeks in advance, we may allow you to reschedule the date of your order.

We are happy to deliver our cakes within Northern and Central New Jersey area and also the New York Metro area. Please contact us for delivery charges, as the price of the delivery will vary based on distance, time, and location.  We are unable to ship our cakes at this time.
 
A set-up fee might also apply in addition to the delivery fee for orders that require assembly on site such as placement of fresh flowers on wedding cakes or assembly of cupcake towers.

At this time, we do not offer nut free, gluten free, or dairy free options.   
**Please note: “LaViv’s Sweet Treats” is NOT a nut free bakery.  All items are prepared on equipment that also processes nuts and may contain traces of nuts or nut extracts.  Please let us know if you have any allergies.

We believe in our product, the quality of our ingredients, and serving your guests the cake that is presented to them, thus we do not make faux cakes to pair with cutter cakes from other stores.
However, if you would like your cake to appear bigger than your guest list, we would be happy to add some faux Styrofoam tiers to create the cake of your dreams.
If your budget only allows for a three tier cake, but you have 300 guests, we could also add a kitchen cake to add more servings to accommodate all of your guests. 

Yes, we have a collection of Cake, Cake Pop and Cupcake stands available starting at $25 rental fee.  We require a $50 *REFUNDABLE security deposit.  All stands must be returned with 48 hours of your event.
*Refundable only if the stand is returned on time, clean, and in the same condition it was rented (NOT DAMAGED).
